Performance Curve
1. Air-driven input: The data assumes a flow rate of 40 scfm (1.132 Nm³/min), representing performance at approximately 100 psi pressure. A smaller air-driven booster pump will produce a proportionally lower output rate.
2. Piping Inlet: The data represents parameters under the assumption of an unrestricted 3/8” NPT inlet pipe. However, in many refrigerant recovery applications, severe restrictions at the inlet supply are unavoidable, which can cause the pump to run dry, thereby reducing the output rate.
3. It is recommended to install safety valves and relief valves downstream, as any pump operating under stall conditions could increase the output pressure beyond the normal pipeline's capacity.
The actual flow rate will depend on whether the refrigerant is in liquid or gaseous form.
